I seem to have accidently deleted my audio system that came with my Microsoft
Window XP version computer. How can I reinstall it?

Do a system restore to a date prior to the loss of audio or go to the PC
maker's web site and download the audio driver (providing you don't have a
driver CD that was furnished with the PC) and install it.

How do I pick a date? I went into System restore but didn't give me option
to pick a date.

If he says "will not let me pick a date" then I should think that there are
no restore points available for whatever reason.

Go to the manufacturer site, download and install the audio drivers for
your model.

If the restore has been turned on, some of the dates on the calendar should
be bold face meaning that a restore point was created on that date. Click
on a date prior to the audio loss if one exists. Unless the audio was lost
in the last couple of days, I would first try installing the audio driver.

That's why I worded my reply as I did: "If the restore has been turned on,
some of the dates on the calendar should be bold face meaning that a restore
point was created on that date."
