My computer will not display any kind of sound. Th espeakers were checked to
see if they were connected correctly, and they were. But when I would try to
play a CD in Windows Media Player a box would pop up (Cannot playback the
audio stream: no audio hardware is available, or hardware is not responding)
and the CD would not play. What do I do?

Did your sound work before, when? If it did, do a Restore of your System
to before the trouble started. Use Windows Restore under Accessories>
System Tools. You can go back up to 90 days. If it never worked, go here:
Click "Where Did My Sounds Go?"
