Bit of a long shot, but i am wanting software which will:-
a) record directly to .mp3 (selectable quality) - if not in realtime, then
have it's own encoder to mp3.
b) allow me to hit a 'hot key' to divide the track in real time (or click a
button etc to do this).
c) be able to pause the recording and resume when talking is over.
d) allow me to trim the file and/or fade start/finish of each mp3.

I am wanting to record live concerts from the radio, i have looprecorder,
which is great, but it just records in one big wav file and i have to
manually cut songs, encode them etc.

Cheers
Andy

I'm pretty sure CDex does all that plus all the ripping stuff it was made
for.
