Audio problems when recording back to tape Help!!!!

I have a problem with the audio track (background music)
I added to my movie. First I muted the audio from the
video so only the background music I added is heard. The
video is edited with various clips from a longer video.
When I try to put my project back to tape (from computer
onto DV Tape), the audio I added jumps (interrupts) for a
second. I think the original video audio is causing the
problem and have muted it and done everything else but
the music track still jumps when the video changes to a
different scene. I even recorded the entire video back
to computer so there would be not breaks in it and used
it in a new project with the audio track and it still
jumps. I can't figure this one out, someone please help
