Hi There,
I'm running Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005, on my HP Pavillion Pentium
D, I'm using Windows MCE to recieve my digital terristeal TV, it does that
with no problem at all. Recording etc etc.

My problem happened two days ago, when I wanted to use WMM to convert an old
VHS to DVD, I've got to composite input in my computer, one for TV tuner, and
another one built in the computer, I've connected the VCR to the free
composite input, managed to get the pictrue on WMM but with no Audio, the
same happened when I used the composite for the TV tuner on WMM, No audio,
even though the same TV tuner input works perfectly with windows MCE!!!

I've tried using all the audio inputs available in WMM, no use. The same
problem also happened while trying to use Ulead VideoStudio 7, No Audio just
video. I also checked the volume control and all the input slides are at the
max.

Highly appreciating your help.
Best Regards,
fhmutairi

WMM is software, it dosen't have "audio inputs"...
What "audio input" do you mean?
When receiving DVB-T signals, this is via a PCI tuner card
installed in your PC. Very different to............
Capturing analog VHS video signals requires that you
connect the audio L/R output of your vcr to audio line-in
capture inputs, just connecting the video feed will explain
why you are not receiving audio signals, or you are
connecting to PC/Tuner audio *out* sockets - this is likely
explaination as in your post you have seemingly confused
your "TV tuner" sockets as line-in - they are not.
I'm no fan of HP hardware, but they are major players and
I'm sure they would have supplied a manual, or try their
site, click support and locate your model, you need to
identify the audio line-inputs.
