Audio Problem with MSN Messenger 6.0

Cannot be heard with MSN Messenger 6.0 although no
problem receiving.
The audio/video tuning wizard shows everything working
and the microphone icon in the bottom right corner shows
movement. However, no one can hear me.
Have tested that the microphone is working OK by swapping
between other computers and by using the "Accessories -
Sound Recorder".
Have 5 Dell computers wirelessly networked & connected to
an ADSL Modem and apart from this one problem everything
is fine (including, of course, that the other 4 can send
and receive).
The only differences are that the computer which does not
send sound has XP Professional and the others XP Home
Edition and it is cabled to the modem and the others are
wireless (oh.. and it is the most expensive - by far!!!).
Have seen other sound problems mentioned in the newsgroup
that are similar but have not identified a solution.
Grateful any suggestions.

Good evening,
Whilst I have not received an answer to my problem
registered at 12.26 pm today I have received 5 e-mails
from people who have the same problem.
Therefore, looking forward to a solution.
