XP Home, SP 2, notebook, - 1.8ghz, 512 RAM, using stereo speakers.

Is there a software, preferably a freeware, that will amplify the audio
playback, or output from my notebook?

My audio level is way too low and I have set Wave and all audio outputs to
maximum.

Turn up the "notebook" volume control. (read the manual)

Hi Robert,

There is no software to do what you want. Check to make sure you have the
volume control on the notebook itself turned up. After that, the only
alternative is to buy an external amplifier.
