In my MM project I imported a number of images and some MP3 files. I dragged
the images and audio files down to the timeline and organized them. I hit
play to see my work and no sound. So after reading some posts on this
website I converted all of the MP3s to WAV files. Same problem no sound
within MM. These audio files play fine in WM Player by the way.

Next I right clicked on the audio/music overlay to check the volume of the
audio file. The volume is in the middle so I close the audio clip volume
window and presto there is sound. Now here's the catch if I move to an area
of the timeline beyond the audio file I will not get sound when I move back.
I have to open the audio clip volume window and shut it to get sound again.
I do not have to change the volume, but just open and close the window. Does
anyone else have this problem? Is there a fix? Because right I cannot save
a movie and get sound regardless of the audio file type.

I've also now tried WMA files and the result is the same.
