Audio not capturing when making a video directly from video cam

I am able to burn my video onto my hard drive but am no capturing the audio.
I have the audio controls all the way to left on "audio from video" and it is
still not working. Thanks!!

I believe so, I am using the small USB that connects to the cam, is this the
same?

You're describing a USB connection, not a firewire one.

Movie Maker typically doesn't work capturing via USB... you would need to
use the sofware that came with the camera to get it into the computer, and
then do file conversions if needed to get it to Movie Maker..

Thank you John, you have been very helpful. I'll go by Best Buy this w/e and
get 1 of these.
