Hello,

Does anyone know of a easy to use mixing program for MP3 or Wav
files? I found one program called SC Audio Mixer but it comes bundled
with spyware. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you referring to this software for something else without the
letters DJ in the name?

http://www.softwareclub.ws/dj_mixer.html
"FREE Promotional Offer Expires Soon" "usually $59.00"

Babya Logic has plenty of tools for DJ style mixing-no spyware or
malware.

Hello,

> Babya Logic has plenty of tools for DJ style mixing

so would you please give us some information, what these tools
should be? You advertize it as "8-track music creation application"
which is something different than a mixing tool in my knowledge.

Why don't you start helpful websites for your products (or
better said rip-offs and stolen code) where anyone can read,
what these tools should be, you claim to have bundled.

And why plenty of tools for one purpose? Why can't you concentrate
in creating one tool for one purpose (and publish it this way,
not bundled to something undefined)? Oh, I forgot, you don't
really code yourself, you take others peoples open source software
and just relabel it to Babya. Stealing...

Thorsten

what are you looking for? Can you provide more details?

What I like is something pure and simple:

Traktor Beatport Player (successor of "Traktor DJ Player")

http://www.native-instruments.com/in...tportplayer_us

Unfortunately download requires to provide an email address.

Thanks for everyone's help. I am just looking for a program with a
simple interface to mix two music tracks. Not for club use just for my
own experimentation. I am going to try Traktor Beatport Player. Thanks
for your help and time.

all free programs I know are for this: playing around. To create
recordings of mixes for example I don't know a good free mixing
tool (try Audacity as enhanced wave editor instead maybe), just to
do some experiments there are more options. For example:

http://mixxx.sourceforge.net/ - another mixer, more options,
not so great interface

http://www.e-mix.com/index.php?id=15&L=1 - many many options,
knobs, bells & whistles - requires XP (so I have not tried
myself) & a free nasty registration

http://www.cdscratch.com/ - just a tool to DJ with audio CD, cool
scratching, the free version nags at closing, but someway brilliant

I tried a lot some weeks ago, but cannot find more (free) at the
moment. Shame on me.

I used the Traktor Beatport Player and recorded the mix through my
soundcard. There is no record option I can find within the Traktor
program. But it worked just fine. Thanks again!

I am working on a nice PDF help file that has useful information.
REAPER-is another example, not free, as V 1.0 preview is shareware.
