OK. I am a newbie to the board so be gentle....LOL.... Here is my problem. I
actually have 2 computers, 1 desktop and 1 laptop. My desktop is running
Windows XP Pro and I have no problems with that. I am perplexed on my laptop
however which is running Windows Vista Home Premium. I would like to be able
to record sound from my computer which on the desktop I was able to do by
just choosing "Wave Out Mix" to record from. I do not have an option like
that on the laptop. I have already looked into how you can right click on the
sound icon and choose recording options and look in there for hidden items
also but it... "Wave Out Mix" still isn't in there. I know this is usually an
option of the audio card itself. In order to get that capability back would I
need to purchase a new audio card or is there a program that I can purchase
that would give me the capability to record sound on the Vista laptop??
