thanks. there didn't appear to be that icon/option down in the syst. tray. I
know what you are referring to, but clicking on the icon didn't bring up any
option other than to lower/raise the volume. Dbl clicking on the app in
Control panel brought no response. On another forum someone posted this link:

I uninstalled the driver from the Dell site and installed the one above.
It's working fine now, so that appeared to resolve the issue.
