Hi guys and girls, I really need your help...

I have just installed windows xp SP2 on my laptop, and all drivers are up to date. BUT every time I want to shut down or reboot my system, blue screen with the message "windows is shutting down" hang and hang and hang....

I already did research on this problem and conclusion is that "Via high definition audio driver" is making problems, because when I remove it (I remove also VIA platform device in add/remove) everything works fine, except I don't have any sound ....
I tried with the driver I got on the laptop cd, and with the driver I downloaded from asus website. It is always the same, it just hang forever!!!
Laptop is asus k50ijseries....
Please, what to do?
