I have created a PowerPoint presentation but when I view it, about 1-2
seconds of every audio file is cut off. This only happens during the slide
show. The full audio files plays in normal edit view.

Is there a setting to adjust this??

I have the same problem with MP3 files in PowerPoint 2007 - I've converted the audio files to WAV, and they work fine. Yes, the end file size is larger, but it works.

You may want to give it a try.

PS - I have seen some conversion tools that "trick" PowerPoint into handling an MP3 as a WAV if your filesize is an issue.
