When I had WMP 9 I could burn cd's fine. I got WMP 10 and it wouldn't let me
burn so I upgraded to WMP 11 and it still said the same thing:

Windows Media Player cannot play, burn, rip, or sync the file because a
required audio codec is not installed on your computer.

So what codec do I need and where can I get it? Thanks for any help guys,
really appreciate it.

Joey

Actually the problem lies in DRM,not codecs.Try opening tools in WMP,options,
edit the tabs. You might also download, personel license update wizard from
wm downloads page, its at the very bottom of the player downloads.
