Have just installed XP and when I insert an audio cd it doesn't play and doesn't appear to be recognised. I'm also unable to start the cd from Winamp (my default audio player). All other cd/dvd drive functions are fine. All works fine with the same hardware on Windows ME.
Anyone?

What do you mean it doesn't play. What do you do to try and get it to play
i.e. click on WMPand copy from CD??

Audio cds don't autoplay and the disk doesn't spin up as it would normally. Using Windows explorer and selecting the track titles doesnt start the disk, nor does the Winamp file browser.
