I have two cd drives,(DVD, and a CD/RW 24x). They both
wont record audio tracks off cd's. I thought it was a
problem with WMP9 but it does the same with everyprogram
i have used (cdex, winamp, realone, ect)

So it must be a hardware problem not a software one. The
device managaer says both devices are working properly.

I think it might have something to do with codecs, but i
dont knowthat much about codecs, like how to install them
or how to check if i have the right ones.

When i insert an audio cd, it autoruns to play it in WMp
but this error message comes up...'

'Windows Media Player cannot find the specified file. Be
sure the path is typed correctly. If it is, the file does
not exist at the specified location, or the computer
where the file is stored is offline.'

Please tell me f you know what the problem might be. its
beginning to annoy me.
