Audigy Drivers blown away after Windows Update

I have a Gateway PC, an Intel 2.4 GB processor with 512
MB of RAM and a 40 gig hard drive running Windows XP.
Each time I hve run the WIndows update via Road Runner, I
lose the audio drivers. I have an Audigy Soundblaster
card.

Then, when I re-load the driver, it prompts me for the
location of the "ksuser.dll," "ks.sys" and a "wmaud.drv"
file. I usually can "fake it out" by pointing it to
the "lastgood" directory, but why can't it find it
itself? And why does this keep happening?
