I'm having a problem with XP locking up randomly. The
only thing i can go by for troubleshooting is that my
audigy sound card doesn't install normally. When my
computer crashes hard, it says that it's a device driver
problem. what happens is that sometime when the computer
is running, the sound will cut abruptly and sometimes
repeat and then i lose my mouse of and on and eventually
the whole computer freezes. this is driving me nuts and
it seems to be at random. i've tried to see if it's
something i do but it's done it in games, net browsing,
just after startup, whenever.

if anyone can help, please do. I'm ripping out what
remains of my hair as it is.
