When I turn on computer, a minute later an audible alarm, that sounds like a
british siren, sounds and does not cease until you shut the computer off.
The alarm appears to have no affect on operations of the computer.

Any ideas? The alarm is sounding as I am sending this thread.

Thanks!

This can be the cause of the following:
1- An overheating CPU/System
2- Bad Video Card
3- Corrupt/damaged BIOS settings and you can reset the BIOS settings or get
the latest version from the Motherboard Manufacturer website for your Mobo
sepcs.
4- Unseated properly RAM sticks

Did you installed recently software/hardware?
Does your system ger overheated?

Hello,

Very likely to be a heating issue. Try opening up the box and blow a big fan
at it and see if this changes the situation.

Check the BIOS for alarm settings for overtemp or out of range for power.
