I have the latest beta Audacity. I works fine for recording streaming audio
such as from BBC Radio7. It even plays and edits and saves MP3 files OK. But
when I use it with a USB Griffin iMic there is no sound. It takes a while to
get the settings right and eventually I can get a tape to play into the iMic
device and actually make a viable recording. But even when using software
playthrough option there is no sound. It appears that the speakers (or sound
card) is cut off as soon as I plug the iMic device into a USB port. Please
can anyone advise me. many thanks - Chris Brady.
