I can access all sites except yahoo auctions and ebay. I
just get the dreaded "this page cannot be displayed". I
ran spybot, renamed the hosts file, and tried the other
remedies I have seen in the newsgroups. Any ideas?
These sites work fine on my work computer.

Set your Security settings to Medium to enable ActiveX and JavaScript.
