and those who do have done so with a hacked copy of Forte Agent for some 10 years
now - the instructions on how to modify Agent have been published ad infinitum, all
one need do is ask in alt.usenet.offline-reader.forte-agent.modified for help. With
regard to filtering crossposts, even an unhacked copy of Forte Agent can do that -
by simply clicking the "Enable Crosspost Checking" box. With regard to encrypting
content, people have been PGP-encrypting messages to Usenet for over 10 years as

There have been other threats. FYI in the past alt.comp.freeware
newsgroup participants have NOT favored the removal of content from the
Pricelessware site because it is unpopular in some quarters.

If our decision is the same this time ISTM we might want to go a bit
further and offer to host Newsproxy files on a permanent basis - perhaps
with a home page too (if desired). Something to talk about/ decide
later. . .

Comments please about whether or not we should remove the Newsproxy file
that the Pricelessware site is currently hosting. Comments about whether
we should offer to host Newsproxy on a permanent basis are also welcome.
