First of all, thanks for your help.

This is what I have done. I guess I'll see if it has fixed
the problem. Per your suggestion, I downloaded XXCopy and
copied everything to another drive for backup. It copied
approx. 1.8 GB of data. It didn't copy or recognize any of
the other 16GB that apparently was there. Before the copy,
I uninstalled SystemWorks, and amazingly watched my free
space shrink down another 400MB. I thought it may be
system restore points, but no. I have no idea what was
being dumped there.

I then wiped the partition, copied everything back and
installed the latest version of SystemWorks (which was a
friggen headache, btw ... very poor install setup by
Symantec).

I am monitoring that drive closely to see if I'm
incrementally losing space, but as of yet, things seem to
be stable.

Do you have any ideas as to what may have caused this
behavior?

Thanks,

Stan

Stan, xxcopy has saved my butt on many occasions. For instance I copied
my working WinMe partition to a WinMe
partition that I screwed up by experimenting. It worked fine. I don't
have a clue on why or where your missing drive
space went but I would bet that it had something to do with System
Works. Keep an eye on that. Good Luck.
