Hi Malke,

I am still getting errors from ntdll.dll, they occur when I am using
the Microsoft RAW Image Viewer and I am re-naming multiple files.

The error says it will make a log file, but when I search the log file
isn't there, even searching in hidden folders.

The on screen error says:

Windows Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close...

Then the Error Signature says:

Appname Explorer.exe Appver 6.0.2900.2180
Modver 5.1.2600.2180 offset 00106c3 Modname ntdll.dll

I cannot copy the window that has the really pertinant information in
it and I can't find the log file! Do I have something disabled that is
preventing me from getting the log?

Thank you, sorry it took so long to reproduce the error but now I know
what I do to cause it.

J T

Well since you know what causes it (and I don't have the faintest idea
why you're having problems), don't use the MS RAW Image Viewer! There
are other image handling programs that would do what you want, I'm sure.
A great site for digitial photo reviews, questions, forums is:

http://www.dpreview.com/

I'm sorry that I don't know why you're having difficulties when you work
with digital pictures, but check out the DPReview forums.

That's OK I already have 2 other programs that will allow me to see
the Canon CR2 files.

I ran the mem test program for 4 1/2 hours and it showed nothing.

As to why the log file is absent, when the error message says it will
make one mystifies me.

Thanks for your help and interest, this is sort of like " It only
hurts when I laugh......... well then DON'T laugh!"

Cheers,

J T
