i've tried several times to download the free office trial download without
success. when entering thr required information on the registration for free
download screen, i'm able to enter information down to the region feild then
the registration screen reappears, but all fields are blank. entering again
and the same thing happens. i've contact microsoft via e-mail and the reply
was to delete my cookies, which i did, then retried again with the same
results. please advise.

If you delete the cookies, you should then get a notification that a new
cookie is being created. Did you? Or do you have it set to notify
you of cookies?
I use Firefox so I can't help with IE much. Don't like it, but I have
Firefox set to ask before creating cookies. That way I can allow only
the ones I want.

IE, tools menu, options, Privacy tab, allow that kind of cookie.
