attempting to connect to FTP site thru FP hangs...

I'm attempting to upload my site through the "Remote Web
site" option. After putting in the correct FTP and
username/password information, FP either hangs on me for
several minutes, or tells me that the folder does not
exist. I am able to connect to my site via FTP with the
same information through other FTP programs, i.e. WS_FTP.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing the
problem? Thank you in advance!

FP can not connect to every FTP server, so in those cases you have to use a 3rd Party FTP
application.
