all of a sudden I'm getting no emails with attachments.

even sent myself one from a yahoo account... attached a short text file for
test.

Running XP pro

Norton Service stopped.

I can see Outlook receiving 1 message but it doesn't get into my inbox.

turned off all Outlook 2k Rules...

Still no messages with attachments get in.

Turned of Outlook Security for Attachments

Still no messages with attachments get to my in box.

Checked 'deleted messages' - not there either ???

Does anybody have any idea what happened or what I can do to fix this
problem?

Will, did your ISP add protection - it might be stripping
attachments before they get into your mailbox... check
the SPAM or security settings at your ISP, maybe you can
do that through your webmail account?

I did check with my isp. It is not them.

I can see Outlook 2k as it tells me in the popup that it is retreving 1
email... but the email never shows up in my inbasket.

I have all rules turned off, norton disabled, zone alarm off, and
security/attachments in Outlook off.

Anybody have any more idea's? I'm stuck.

jake, it sounds like OL2K keeps trying to download the same message
over and over again. do you have access to that account via webmail?
is that message in that inbox?
