Attachments from sender appear as MIME ((plain text?)

When I receive messages from one of my contacts (who I think uses
Thunderbird), the attachments appear as MIME.
I'm running Outlook 2003 on Vista home premium.
This started happening a few months ago - and what's strange is my brother
receives the same email with attachments intact (also Outlook/Vista) and when
he forwards them to me - no problems.
It seems I'm configured to receve only plain text from one specific contact.
Any suggestions?

I think he's using Thunderbird
But, my brother receives his email fine & when he forwards them to me -
they're fine.
My next step is to see have the sender resend me an email and check out how
I receiive it on my oISP online email and on Thunderbird & Windows Mail. I've
got them set to leave messages on the server - so I an compare to outlook.

Thanx!
But I do't have te problem with Thunderbird, Wndws Mai o at optonline.net
email - and I do't have the problemendig an email from my Thndrebird to
Outlook. So isn' there some basic fix in Options or a registry fix? - and why
only from one specific sender?
