Hi
When I send .jpg files out the recipient is unable to open the file. The thing is that I am sending the same files that I have always sent in Outlook Express and now they are unable to open them. Does anyone know what the problem is? Is it because what I have selected as a "open using" program is not a program that the recipient has? I went into the options and the only program options are for Windows os, not any that MAC users would have. So what do I do if that is the problem and I am sending to a MAC user?

Are you sending the messages in Rich Text format? If so, try using Plain
Text or HTML.

I just sent one, we will see what happens. If that is the case, I cannot use rich text when I send .jpgs?

You can't use Rich Text at all if you expect anyone not using Outlook to be
able to read your messages.. Rich Text is a Microsoft-specific mail format.

That was the problem, I sent .jpgs with plain text and they were able to open them. Is there any way I could use different fonts and expect people not using Outlook to read my messages.

If you send your messages in HTML format, others should be able to read
them, formating and all. Formatting, though, adds nothing to the content of
most messages and can more than double a message's size for no added
information.
