I have vista and loaded MS Office XP professional version 2002. It works
fine but when sending attachments they do not appear on the recipients mail.
I have tested by sending to my Hotmail and GMX mail accounts and they are
fine, but to other accounts they do not appear at all. I have tried word
docs and nothing. Any ideas?

If you can send to your own accounts & its fine, then it would appear the
problem is at the recipients end

If the recipients are not using Outlook and you're using the default Outlook
rich text format, that would be the issue. Rich text format is specific to
Outlook so non-Outlook users would see exactly the symptoms you describe.

Change your format to plain text or HTML and try again.

Tools > Options > Mail Format.
