When I try to save any attachments from Outlook - no matter what type - a
number and brackets is added to each attachment "[1]".

This is very annoying and I have to manually go in and change each file
after downloading. Is there a way to stop this from happening?

this happens when the attachment name already exists. Where are you saving
the files to?
