Opening Word document and other attachments will frequently (but not always)
result in "There is not enough memory or disk space to complete the
operation" error. I'm running Outlook 2007 SP1 on Vista 64. I have ~4518MB of
ram free, CPU usage at ~3%, about 460 GB left on the hard drive, and the page
file at 4697M/ 18616M... seems like there ought to be just about enough
resources to open a 49 KB .doc.

Any thoughts?

Clean out the Temporary Internet Files folder. "Internet Options",
General tab, Delete Files.
