1) Ensure that your message format to plain text or html
2) If the name(s) are coming from personal address book/contacts, make sure
the record is not marked to receive Outlook Rich Text only. (e.g. Open an
existing contact record. Double click on email address. Should *not* be
set to Always send Outlook Rich Text)
3) May have to disable using Word as your e-mail editor
