Attachment place holder

We have a manager here who wants to leave a place holder with the attachment
name in a saved email after the attachment has been removed, like what you
see when a message is replied too <<attachment name>> etc.. Does Outlook have
that capability or are there any third party products that have that function
?

Outlook can't do that. Please look here for a third-party tool:
