Is the email containing the attachment in your Sent Items folder? That would
show it has gone through and left your mailbox intact.
What Outlook format are you using? If it's Rich Text Format, please switch
to plain text or HTML and see if that helps. Also, are you using Word as your
email editor and is it a different version than Outlook? If so, that could be
the culprit.
