What type of attachment? Does it happen for all recipients with the
attachment or only for some? If you don't see the attachment icon in your
sent items, do you recipients still receive the attachment? Is it always
the same type of attachment for which this happens or is it random? What do
the mails have in common that don't show the attachment?

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact.
ALWAYS post your Outlook version.

After furious head scratching, Tony asked:

All clients got this problem. It happens randomly and with different file
types.
The most file types we sent are word 2007, excel 2007, powerpoint 2007 and
pdf. I’ve tried to send a mail with docx document attached to a person and
also cc it to myself as well. I can see the attachment icon on my Sent Items
folder. However, there is no attachment icon on my inbox.

So I don’t know what to do to fix this problem.
Much appreciate if you can help me to resolve this problem.

Many Thanks

Which message format are you using? Plain Text, HTML or Rich Text?
Does changing it make a difference?

Do you have a virus scanner installed which integrates itself with Outlook?
Uninstall this integration part of your virus scanner and try again; you'd
still be sufficiently protected by your on-access scanner part of the virus
scanner. For more details see;

By default, we are using HTML format.
We are using Forefront for virus scanning. Will Forefront integrate with
outlook for scanning?

Many Thanks for your help
