I am using Office 2003. In outlook when i attach file to new message it
appears as an icon in it but not in the attachment field like normal
attachments.How can i restore or configure this?
Secondly I want all my Inbox emails and contacts in other directory so that
i cant lose them if my window crashes??
Kindly help me out.....

Use plain text or HTML for your message format for the attachment to appear in its own window. And explain what you mean by your second point - it makes no sense whatsoever.
