Attachment clip appears on sent messages when there's no attachmen

Many times when i've sent messages from Outlook, the attachment clip appears
on the message in my Sent items and in the receivers' Inbox. There's
definitely been no attachment sent, nor a logo attached. Can anyone explain
why this would happen. Using Outlook 2000 and 2003. Thanks.

Are you using Microsoft Word to compose the e-mail message? If the answer
to this is yes, try turning off Microsoft Word as the e-mail editor to see
if the problem persists. (See Tools > Options > Mail Format)
