I am trying to attach one DWT to another. I am using FrontPage 2003 SP1 on
Windows 2000 SP4. When I open the first DWT and try to attach the second DWT
through Format -> Dynamic Web Template, the "Attach Dynamic Web Template"
option is grayed out and not available. I have tried this for a disk based
site as well as a server based site - it makes no difference.

Help! Is it even possible to attach one DWT to another? If so, exactly how
do I do it?

If you feel your current issue is a results of installing
a Service Pack or security update, please contact
Microsoft Product Support Services:
http://support.microsoft.com
If the problem can be shown to have been caused by a
security update, then there is usually no charge for the call.

Thanks. It looks like the book "Microsoft Office Frontpage 2003 Inside Out"
by Jim Buyens has this wrong on page 323. Here he discusses using DWTs, and
he states that one DWT can attach to another. Plainly, he got that wrong.

What happened - did he imagine this, or was this in a beta and then taken
out of the shipped version of FP2003?

I think Jim has indicated (in this newsgroup) that it was in the beta, but was removed from the
final version.
