Attachements will not open

Hi,

I am using Office 2007 all the latest patches applied, for no apparent
reason this morning no email attachments can be opened. You can preview the
document but not open it.
I have eliminated the AV and run office diag. No issues found. i have also
cleared out the outlook temp file (only 1 small pdf was in there) and still
no attachments will open.
You can save them to the PC and then open them no problem, so not a file
association problem.
Completely out of ideas here, any advice would be appreciated.
