Hi,

Be gentle with me as I am normally an OE user!

In OE, when I attach pictures to e-mail they appear in the mail body
automatically so that the recipient can scroll down through them.

When I try the same thing in Outlook, they just stay in the attachments pane
and have to be opened and viewed one at a time; or all saved to a folder for
viewing in picture and fax viewer say.

If I use the insert dialogue to get them in the body of the mail, this calls
for some hit and miss resizing efforts to get them to fit. So much easier
with OE!

Am I missing something?

S

No. That's the way Outlook works. Outlook 2007 will view images attached to
received email much easier via the new document preview which also views
other types of attachments.

Thanks for the info Bill,

My colleague Outlook user now reports that she can get a slide show of the
images if she highlights all the attachments at once : I had not been able
to do this myself previously so I'll have to check what she's really doing!

Cheers,

S
