Is there a way that someone with ATT, SBCGLOBAL as their internet provider
can set up Windows Mail to send and receive e-mail?

I don't know how, but the answer is yes. I have an alumni living in Houston,
using the same ISP, and she uses Vista Home Premium, Windows Mail.
Why don't you call your ISP and ask for details so that you can set up
account under Windows Mail ?

There is, but AT&T keeps moving the instructions around without leaving
any information on where to find them now at the old locations. Try the
following links to see if any of them help you start a search for wherever
they have the instructions now:

http://my.att.net/
Click on Member Services, then Help & Support Site.

Also click on Important Information in the att.net block at:
http://my.att.net/
Then click on Email Client in the new text this shows you.

Also look for anything similar at:
http://att.my.yahoo.com/

It doesn't help that AT&T is in the process of persuading all its
users to switch from AT&T's email servers to a set they've
arranged for Yahoo to provide, so what you could find includes
information about both of these sets of servers.

Thanks Robert. I've tried to help several neighbors send pictures via
e-mail that have ATT and use Yahoo.

Maybe others might have an idea how to send resized pictures in Yahoo that
I'm missing. The procedure is so easy with Windows Mail.
