ATT Pure an HTC WinMo 6.5 device not showing contacts

i've successfully sync'ed BCM from outlook 2007 to the Pure - however, when
the phone rings it does not recognize the caller and display their info from
BCM - in addition, it does not "find" a BCM contact entry when typing into
the phone keypad - both of these are critical for me to do my job - anyone
know what i need to do?
