Oly problem with this answer is that he did not keep in mind that you wanted
to revert back to Windows 98 is you do not like 2000. So keeping that in
mind I would #1 backup everything you want to keep (since you did say you
wanted to format the hard disk) then in step 4 below format the drive as
FAT32. If you decide you like 2000 then you can use the convert utility and
make the drive NTFS.
