atl message on start up want to clear it

I get a box on startup that says: can not run unicode version of ATL7.1.DLL
on windows 95,98, on windows ME Please install the ANSI version

I am not clear how I got this message but it pops up on start up. I would be
grateful for some help to clear this message.
