I just purchased an ATI AIW 9800 Pro and a I/O Magic DVD writer. Both
components include a Version of Pinnacle Studio. The I/O magic DVD
drive included version 8 SE. The ATI card just labeled theirs as
Pinnacle Studio - ATI version.. There is an 800 printed on the right
side of the front of the CD don't know if this means that it too is
version 8.

My question is. which of these two versions would I be better off
installing and using on my system. I would appreciate any guidance
that anyone one can give me.
Thanks.

My System: Windows XP _ Pro - Academic version (With SP 1)
AMD 3200+ XP (400 FSB) processor
Shuttle AN35N Ultra v1.1 with Onboard audio and LAN
Two 512 MB Crucial PC-3200 OEM set up as dual channel
ATI AIW 9800 Pro
250 GB Maxtor Ultra ATA/133
200 GB Maxtor Ultra ATA/133
Buslink DVD-ROM drive - model DR16
` I/O Magic Dual Format 4X DVD +/- RW/+/- R
Generic case with 400 Watt PS

So you know that one version is 8SE(Special Edition...as in LITE!)
So load up the ATI version and see what that says.....you can always uninstall
if its a lesser version but chances are its exactly the same version.
