After installing the Omega version of the Catalyst 4.4 drivers, atidtct.exe
began running at startup, placing an icon in my system tray. When I
right-click on the icon, my choices are: exit, about, and help. When I
choose help (results for the other choices are obvious) I am informed that
it can't find the atidtct.hlp file.

1. What does atidtct.exe do (it says it detects ATI devices - meaning
what?)?
2. Do I need it, or should I turn it off in msconfig?
3. Where can I obtain a copy of atidtct.hlp?

Note: I did a Google search for atidtct and it was of no help. TIA.

J
