what is the difference between an ATI RADEON 7000 64MB DDR w/TV-out and a
Gigabyte RADEON 7000 64MB DDR w/TV-out... is the ATI and Gigabyte a brand?
why would 2 different brands provide the same thing? And is there a Radeon
card with a TV-in? or just TV outs... I can't imagine why their would be a
TV in but someone asked me for one...

ATI is the designer of the card, and also manufactures their own version of
it. Gigabyte bought the specs and chipset for the card from ATI and offers
their version of it. To get TV in you have to buy a more expensive model of
ATI card.

Tv-in, so they can watch the tv whilst using the computer, I guess.
Also, not 100% sure of this, but it may also be possible if you have a
video camera, to upload the videos onto your computer for editing.
