My dual monitor system was working correctly. I
downloaded from Microsoft and installed "ATI Technoliges
display update released September 12, 2003" (a driver
upgrade). My digital display came up as "1". I extended
my desktop, selected and installed the proper display
drivers. I then selected my CRT as "1". The display
drivers did not swap properly. I have tried meny times
and meny ways to get the correct drivers for the displays
but nothing worked. The display system seem to function
alright with the wrong drivers, but somthing that I have
not tried yet may not work correctly. I have an ATI 9000
with 128Mb. The ATI software that I had prior to this
update would allow swapping and the drivers would change
with the swap. I think ATI has a software problem to be
fixed. I have not found a way to tell Microsoft.
